This diminutive AC Ace Bristol was undoubtedly one of the stars of the 77th Goodwood Members' Meeting for me, despite the presence of some heavy hitting air cooled Le Mans racers. Freshly restored by Mark Aldridge, this Bristol engined 1955 AC roadster is a true Mille Miglia veteran, having raced originally in the 1956 event, as well as many subsequent events since. Pulled out of its paddock garage in the morning light, it looked stunning in its pristine maroon paintwork and Mille Miglia livery...
