A fantastic opportunity arose in May when I had the chance to spend the weekend with the Bentley factory team at the Silverstone race circuit during their 2018 Blancpain GT campaign. This was only the second race outing of the new Continental GT3, an all new racer based on the company's new Continental GT. Time spent in the pitlane for a modern, high profile race series was a real eye opener, and starkly contrasted with the classic racing events that I had attended previously. The high energy atmosphere made for an unforgettable day and an awesome experience, helped by great weather and a truly photogenic pair of racing cars. What a weekend...
