Many years have passed since I first wiled away pleasurable hours at one of these exclusive gatherings. Back then in it's formative years, it was held in the comparatively bijou grounds of the Hurlingham Club in London. Whilst it's move up the road to Blenheim Palace has transformed the ambience of the event into something far grander, the fundamental recipe remains as temptingly mouth-watering as ever.
